Miriam Hoffman
Miriam fell in love with casting while attending USC Theater School, when she and a friend created USC Casting to provide talent for Undergraduate, Graduate, Peter Starks Program, and various outside projects. After graduation she was hired by the legendary William Morris Agency's Reality Based TV and Packaging Department, and helped to place Ryan Seacrest and Jeff Probst into their now iconic hosting positions.
Miriam made the leap to scripted casting with the feature film ‘Night at the Museum’, followed by television series “The OC’, “Lincoln Heights’, “Raising Hope’, ‘The Millers’ and ‘Workaholics’ among many others. Next, Miriam delved into the world of independent feature films, contributing to noteworthy projects like “30 Miles from Nowhere”, “Painter”, ‘Dead Night” and “Battle Scars”, which won the Founder’s Choice Award at the GI Film Festival.
In 2019, Miriam joined forces with fellow casting rockstar Candice Bernstein to launch
Hoffman | Bernstein Casting. Since then, they have applied their talents to a wide variety of scripted, non-scripted, digital, and commercial endeavors for companies large and small, reliably delivering the kind of quality talent that turns good ideas into outstanding projects.
Candice Bernstein
Candice Bernstein is a versatile entertainment industry executive who has worn many hats in her career, including casting director, producer, agent, talent development, and stylist. She is most passionate about casting, but this varied experience gives her valuable insight into how successful projects are conceived and executed.
After graduating from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Candice joined the prestigious William Morris Training Program, and later became a casting executive at Liz Lewis Casting, GSN, Discovery Networks, Special Artists Agency, Awestruck, and other companies of note. In the process, she has contributed to a wide variety of projects in the scripted, non-scripted, commercial, broadcast, digital, and podcast realms.
When Candice partnered with fellow casting ace Miriam Hoffman to launch Hoffman | Bernstein Casting, the goal was to leverage their combined skills and experience to deliver industry standard casting services to every client, every time.
