With over two decades of experience in casting, Miriam Hoffman stands out as a leading expert in talent discovery and development. Her exceptional ability to make individuals feel at ease enables her to uncover and cultivate top talent, ensuring that every creative vision is brought to life with precision and enthusiasm. Miriam’s knack for spotting untapped potential and her deep understanding of a writer or director’s needs set her apart in the industry.

Miriam’s extensive portfolio includes work on acclaimed network sitcoms such as The O.C., Damages, Lincoln Heights, Raising Hope, The Millers, Coach, Sebastian Says, and Workaholics. She has also cast for major studio films like Night at the Museum and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, as well as numerous independent films.
Her career began as an associate at prestigious casting offices including Marcy Liroff, Stordahl & Terry Casting, and Dava Waite Peaslee Casting. Over the years, she has built a stellar reputation for her ability to forge strong relationships, her reliability, and her innovative approach to solving casting challenges.
In 2019, Miriam co-founded the agency with her longtime friend and former WMA colleague, Candice Bernstein. This venture allows them to focus on a diverse range of projects—scripted, unscripted, and everything in between—while collaborating with talented individuals they truly enjoy working with. This partnership represents the culmination of their shared passion and expertise in the casting industry.

Candice’s ability for recognizing potential talent extends across all types of entertainment, from scripted content to unscripted formats. With a career spanning over 20 years, Candice has honed her expertise in identifying and nurturing talent for a variety of entertainment platforms, including linear, streaming, commercials, digital media, and scripted projects. Candice has held numerous Talent Executive positions including Head of Talent at Awestruck ( Former Digital Platform) to Senior Casting Producer at TLC.
Candice’s journey in the entertainment industry began as a creative professional. Her vast experience in talent development, casting and producing provides her with a unique perspective to bringing a client’s vision to life. Her extensive experience includes roles on both the buyer and seller sides, working with major networks and production companies. This background enables her to think creatively and outside the box, helping both new and established clients achieve their goals in talent development and casting.
She has a proven track record in casting and producing, with experience ranging from Snapchat and Walmart projects to shows like “Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew” on Discovery, “Family Face-Off” on Nick at Nite, and various projects with Liz Lewis Casting.
Her role as Manager of Talent and Development and Casting at GSN, coupled with nearly a decade as Senior Casting Producer at TLC Network, underscores her ability to manage and execute casting across a wide array of shows, including “Something Borrowed, Something New,” “Randy to the Rescue,” “NY Ink,” “My First Home,” and “Extreme Cougar Wives.” Notably, she also cast TLC’s first live Facebook event, “Birth Story Live,” which featured live births.
Candice began her career as an agent trainee at William Morris Agency before transitioning into talent relations and development. Her early work in New York casting commercials set the stage for her successful move to Los Angeles, where she continued to excel in talent development and casting. Her passion for entertainment, coupled with her vast industry experience, has shaped her successful career in talent development and casting.
After working with some of the biggest companies and studios, Candice co-founded the agency to address the evolving casting needs of the industry. Her career is a testament to her dedication to developing and placing talent in projects that bring their unique stories to life.
